Between River Street and Pine Street, there is no marked wide shoulder on Lake Street, and you will need to ride along the outside edge of the street. The wide-shoulder bike route on the south side of Boyne City along Division Street leads to M-75, where you can ride on the paved shoulder for six miles to Boyne Falls.

The map has information about Whiting Park and Young State Park. Both parks offer sandy swimming beaches on Lake Charlevoix, picnic areas, recreational facilities, and campgrounds.
This map also shows the location of Tannery Park, which has a small parking lot, picnic area, and beautiful view of Lake Charlevoix.

Young State Park is a popular spot for camping during the summer. The park's large sandy beach is a great place to cool off in the summer. It also offers beautiful views of Lake Charlevoix throughout the year. The park's inland lake, Mirror Lake, is also a scenic spot.
Young State Park has trails for hiking and cross-country skiing that wind through wooded areas. Its recreational facilities include a ball diamond, basketball court, and volleyball court. A small playground is located near the beach. The Young State Park's boat launch is located near the Terrace Campground.
