  • Hancock-Calumet-Lake Linden - Routes for biking, snowmobiling, and hiking from Hancock to Calumet and Lake Linden.

  • Houghton-Baraga Bike Route - East of Michigan Tech's campus, there is a wide, paved shoulder along US-41 that can be used by bicycles. The route goes from Houghton to Chassell and Baraga.

  • Hancock Trails - Just across the Portage Canal, Hancock is a town full of history. The town has a very nice paved trail for biking, walking and jogging during the warmer months and for snowmobiling during winter.

  • Eagle Harbor Parks and Trails - One of the most beautiful spots on the Keweenaw Peninsula, Eagle Harbor has an historic lighthouse, a sandy beach, marina, and much more. Cross-country ski trails and snowmobile trails are located near Eagle Harbor. Plus cyclists like to ride along M-26 on the way to Copper Harbor.

  • Copper Harbor Parks and Trails - Copper Harbor is a popular destination at the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Snowmobile trails and bike routes are plentiful. Plus Fort Wilkins State Park is located at Copper Harbor.
