Northern Keweenaw Peninsula Bike & Driving Routes Map (Online version)

Northern Keweenaw Peninsula Bike & Driving Routes Map (PDF)

Shows the attractions in Copper Harbor, Copper Harbor, Eagle River, Phoenix and more. Includes Copper Harbor Light Station, Eagle River Falls, Five Mile Point Lighthouse, Fort Wilkins State Park, Jacobs Falls, Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, and much more.

The bike route with dotted lines on the map indicates that there is little or no shoulder, which means you will need to ride your bike on the outer edge of the road.

The M-26 route between Eagle River and Brockway Mountain Drive provides scenic views of Cat Harbor, Copper Harbor, Great Sand Bay, Grand Marais Harbor, and Lake Superior. The terrain is hilly, and the road can be narrow at times when the trees get close to the road. There are numerous spots to stop and pull over to enjoy the view or rest.

The bike route on Brockway Mountain Drive has very steep hills (you're climbing a mountain), so you may need to walk your bike up the hill if it gets too difficult. The views are amazing from many points along Brockway Mountain Drive. If you don't want to ride up the steep hills, you can still drive this route and enjoy the scenery or you can ride along Lakeshore Drive/M-26 to Copper Harbor instead.
