The Grand Haven Trail System includes paved trails, bike lanes, sidewalks, and the waterfront boardwalk. North of M-104, the trail connects to the Lakeside Trail, which connects Ferrysburg, Fruitport and Spring Lake.

Also shown is the Kitchel-Lindquist Dunes Preserve Hiking Trail, which is winding trail over rolling dunes and through wooded areas. From a high point on the northern edge of the hiking trail, you can see Lake Michigan.
