Grant Area Parks

Named for President Ulysses S. Grant, Grant is a small community in Newaygo County. Farming is the biggest industry in the region, and Bolthouse Farms, a company known for its baby carrots, dressings, and juices, was founded in Grant in 1923.

The town has a couple of small parks. Ryan Benson Memorial State Park is located north of Brink Street and features a few ramps for skate boarding. A baseball diamond is east of the skate park.

Other athletic facilites are located adjacent to Commerce Street. A baseball diamond, soccer field, and basketball court can be found there, as well as a playground and picnic area.

Each August, Grant hosts the Frontier Festival, a community gathering with live entertainment, a car show, tractor show, kids activities, and much more.
