The paved trail that winds through Hines Park starts on the south side of 7 Mile Road in Northville and follows along Hines Drive through Plymouth, Livonia, Garden City and Dearborn Heights.

Northville West Recreation Area has a volleyball court, lacrosse field, picnic areas, baseball diamonds, and playgrounds

Cass Benton Recreation Area has a playground and disc golf course.

Wilcox Lake has a large playground, picnic shelter and picnic area.

Gunsolly Mills has a large playground and picnic areas on the west side of Hines Drive.

Plymouth Riverside Recreation Area has a playground and picnic shelter.

Haggerty West Recreation Area has soccer fields that are used for youth soccer leagues. There area also two ball diamonds, a playground and a picnic area.

Newburgh Pointe is a scenic area with a picnic spot overlooking Newburgh Lake.

Sumac Pointe also offers a beautiful view of Newburgh Lake and fishing spots. A modern playground and a picnic shelter are located a short distance from Hines Drive.

Levan has parking and offers access to the Hines Park paved trail.

Elmgrove Rec Area offers two baseball diamond, physical fitness stations and a picnic area.

Hawthorne Ridge features a dog park, baseball diamond, playground, picnic areas and exercise stations.

Merriman Hollow is located west of Merriman at Hines Drive. The recreation area has a baseball diamond, soccer fieldn, picnic shelter and playground.

About a half of a mile east of Merriman Hollow there is also a baseball diamond on the north side of Hines Drive.

Perrin Recreation Area has two baseball diamonds on the north side of Hines Drive and a playground on the south side of the road.

Nolar Bend has two ball diamonds south of Hines Drive.

Wallaceville features soccer fields that are used for youth soccer leagues.

Parr Recreation Area is located at Woodbine Street and Hines Drive. The area has a soccer field, baseball diamond, picnic shelter, playground, and picnic area.

Warrendale Park has youth soccer fields, a baseball diamond, picnic shelter, playground, basketball court, and picnic areas.

Helms Haven in Dearborn Heights has a baseball diamond, picnic shelter, playground and picnic areas.
