The map shows the locations of major attractions, including Au Sable Light Station, Chapel Beach, Chapel Falls, Chapel Rock, Grand Marais Harbor Lights, Grand Sable Dunes, Miners Castle, Miners Beach, Mosquito Falls, Munising Falls and more. The Pictured Rocks Boat Cruise launches from the Munising Marina area.

The Lakeshore Trail and Fox River Trail are hiking trails in the area. The Lakeshore Trail provides access to many of the park's rock formations, beaches, and attractions. The Lakeshore Trail stretches over 30 miles from the parking lot at Munising Falls to Grand Marais. During the summer months, you will want to bring insect spray if you use the trails since you may encounter mosquitos or black flies, especially near Au Sable Light Station.

Ther are several campgrounds located near the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. If you prefer to stay in a hotel, Munising has several hotels to choose from.

Several roads in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore area are dirt roads, which are sometimes narrow and/or bumpy.
