Saugatuck Dunes State Park has several trails, including one that goes to a beach on Lake Michigan.

There is no lifeguard at the beach on Lake Michigan.








The trail to the beach is a long hike (over 1.5 miles one way), so you might not want to hike there in flip-flops.
You can walk your dog on the trails, but the pet has to be on a leash.

Cook Park is located on the edge of Lake Kalamazoo and has a picnic area with a view of the marina.

Coghlin Park has a large picnic shelter with a great view of Lake Kalamazoo.

On the Corner of Main Street and Butler Street, Village Square Park has a nice playground.
Across Butler Street, there is a basketball court, tennis court, and restrooms.








The playground is a popular spot on a summer day.
On the south corner of Butler Street and Main Street, there is a small park with sculptures, including one dedicated to puppeteer Burr Tillstrom.

 








Mt. Baldhead Park has a large picnic shelter.

A small shelter stands over the walkway to the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Museum.
The Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Museum is located on the edge of the Kalamazoo River.





 


There is a stariway to a dock on the Kalamazoo River near the museum.
 

 








A sign directing you to Oval Beach is located on Ferry Street.
Oval Beach is a busy place on summer weekends.

Wicks Park has a beautiful gazebo.
 

 








The Saugatuck Chain Ferry takes passengers across the Kalamazoo River.
It's easy to walk around Saugatuck's downtown shopping district.








The historic (and possibly haunted) Felt Mansion is located near Saugatuck Dunes State Park.
Coral Gables is a popular night spot in Saugatuck.








The Butler has very good food and is located on the edge of Lake Kalamazoo.
In front of the Butler, you can find an information booth with details about Saugatuck.








Saugatuck is known for its bed and breakfasts, including the Wickwood Inn.
One of the oldest bed and breakfasts is Park House Inn, which was established in 1857.








The SS Keewatin Maritime Museum & Kalamazoo River Lighthouse are located on the south shore of Lake Kalamazoo.
Saugatuck has many historic chruches, like First Congregational Church.








Even on cold winter days, Saugatuck's charming downtown attracts shoppers to its unique shops and boutiques.
Saugatuck is a town full of classic, beautiful houses.
