Ann Arbor - Ypsilanti Trail
Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti are neighboring cities connected by city streets and a trail that borders the Huron River. The paved trail between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti is known as the Border to Border Trail and passes through several nice city parks, including Parker Mill Park, Gallup Park, and Furstenburg Park.

No matter the time of year, the natural scenery along the trail offers a relaxing, colorful journey. From blossoming trees and flowers in the spring to spectacularly colored leaves in the fall and snow-covered hills and valleys during the winter, the changing landscape along the Huron River and at nearby parks helps make the route among the best in the area.

The Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area is a hub for higher education, with the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Concordia University and Washtenaw Community College located with only a few miles of each other.

Both cities offer many tasty restaurants. The area attracts students from around the world, and as a result, there are many excellent restaurants near the college campuses that feature an international flair.

For lodging choices, major hotel chains are located near I-94 and US-23. Ypsilanti has several charming bed and breakfasts near downtown. Campus Inn in downtown Ann Arbor and Weber's Inn off I-94 are two local hotels with excellent reputations.
