The west end of the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail starts in Greenville at Grove Street. You can park at Water Works Park to access the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail and the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail.
The Fred Meijer Heartland Trail makes its way north to the edge of Greenville and crosses Greenville West Road, where you'll want to be careful crossing the road. The trail then goes northeast to M-91/Greenville Road, which can be busy sometimes. You'll want to be careful crossing that road also.
