Zeeland Area Trails
Zeeland features many paved trails for biking, jogging, walking, and roller-blading. Most are asphalt paths that are four to five feet wide, located adjacent to a street. The trails can be used to reach Zeeland's high schools, Herman Miller, Howard Miller, and other locations.

Cyclists can ride along the edge of Main Street to reach downtown Zeeland. The street has wide vehicle lanes, providing room for cyclists. Always use caution when riding along the edge of a road.

Trails to Other Towns

  • The Adams Street, James Street, and Riley Street Trails lead to Holland. You will need to cross US-31, which can be busy at times. The paved trail along Riley Street can be used to reach Meijer and several nearby restaurants, including Wendy's, Red Robin, and Dairy Queen.

  • The Adams Street Trail goes from Holland through Zeeland Township to Drenthe. The paved trail is regularly used for walking, jogging, and biking. A trail spur goes to the Drenthe Community Grove and Ball Fields, which is near 68th Avenue.

  • The Fred Meijer Kenowa Trail is a paved route that starts along Byron Road, west of I-196. The trail goes to Vriesland and Jamestown.
